The Summit Recovery Hub is partnering with Summit County Public Health, the ADM Board and the Summit County Opiate & Addiction Task Force to hold its first public event! (We're so excited!) We're making Wednesday, August 31st, 2022 from 2 - 4 pm a "Time to Remember, Time to Act." We're holding an Overdose Awareness Day event where we are linking 235 individuals across the All-American (Y-Bridge) to represent the 235 individuals who lost their live to fatal drug overdose in 2021.
Linked is a PDF of our flyer. Scanning the QR code will take you to the registration page. Signing up will get you information.
The bridge is about 1500 feet long so 235 individuals standing arm's length apart should span all the way from Summa St. Thomas hospital (a landmark in the recovery community) to downtown.
We hope you will join us in honoring those lost to unnecessary drug overdoses for Overdose Awareness Day and commit to recognizing that September 1st kicks off Recovery Month and our TIME TO ACT to #EndOverdose.
