Pregnant & Parenting People with Substance Use Disorder

Pregnant And Parenting Education and Recovery (SummitPAPER) is a program which helps pregnant and parenting persons who are experiencing substance use disorder and helps them address the barriers they face.

Our program would provide specialized, advanced-level peer support for pregnant people in local treatment and prenatal programs who are at the beginning of understanding how the behavioral heath disorder is affecting them and their families lives.

Recovery Care Management Navigators also provide an extra level of support to keep participants motivated and engaged in their recovery. Work to develop reunification recovery plans and plans of safe-care.

Work to complete advanced directives for Perinatal Harm Reduction (birth experience advocacy) for pregnant people.
