On December 24, 2022 one of the Summit Recovery Hub Directors, China Darrington wilI be sleeping rough on the streets of Summit County, Ohio to raise money for pregnant/parenting people who have experienced substance use disorders and are seeking recovery.

China's Story
As many of you know, China's recovery journey began 19 years ago with a crisis pregnancy and also trying to parent a 4 year old. The kindness and generosity of others helped her do what seemed impossible. It helped her change her life, recover and be the mom she longed to be. Since then she's had a passion to help other's who may be experience substance use disorder while parenting or pregnant, and want to create kinder and safer systems where it's okay to come forward and get the support needed.
We're attempting to raise $2500 by 12/25 for the Summit Recovery Hub and any donation will help us make an impact supporting pregnant and parenting people experiencing substance use disorders and trying to seek recovery.
